This is courtesy of the tireless efforts of my brother to relive our days pounding bowl after bowl of golden grahams and watching this stuff:
AT&T’s labs continue to stay at it. I mean it’s clear they’ve had a knack for this kind of thing considering they’ve spun off whole companies just from their R&D department. This isn’t just another text-to-speech — this one speaks other languages too! Especially interesting is its ability to talk in an accent if you feed one language into another’s algorithm.

If you have a lease account with Dell like I (unfortunately) do, try putting “Thank you for calling Dell Financial” into the last option. Eerily accurate.
